Like fff, except it does not return true for matches to either the left or right argument.
my @list = <X A B C Y>; say $_ if /A/ fff /C/ for @list; # OUTPUT: «ABC» say $_ if /A/ ^fff^ /C/ for @list; # OUTPUT: «B»
